Dr. Katz’s Guide to PROSTATE HEALTH
Dr. Aaron Katz has taken the best of both worlds! The best of what conventional medicine at the Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital has to offer and the best of Alternative medicine. A very powerful message that needs to include both approaches.
I have heard Dr. Katz speak and have met him, and now have read his book “Dr. Katz’s Guide to PROSTATE HEALTH”. I sincerely believe that this book is a must read for every man.
For those of you who know me and have read (my story) on this website, I only wish that Dr. Katz’s book and his research would have been available back in the fall of 1994, as I started down the alternative road.
Here is the first paragraph from the introduction to his book.
Speaking Man to Man
You know, men don’t like to talk about their health problems, especially those that afflict us…(down there). I guess it’s that macho exterior of ours–a hardened shell we develop to succeed in our professional lives where admitting weaknesses can be certain death; but, often, even in our personal lives, we really don’t like admitting our vulnerabilities.
Dr. Katz’s team at Columbia continue to conduct a study to see if a product called Zyflamend could have an impact on the progression or regression of PIN. They have enrolled 16 men with biopsy-proven PIN and put them on a Zyflamend protocol, Which includes three capsules per day of Zyflamend and other select food supplements. the study’s protocol involves doing repeat biopsies at 6, 12, and 18 months. Dr. Katz’s team is analyzing their PSAs and other blood parameters throughout.
As you may know, clinical studies are very carefully monitored and overseen by hospital review boards. As an industry standard, review boards discourage doctors from publishing specific results before a clinical trial is completed, no matter how good the news might be. We have performed our first and second biopsies and it’s fair to say that we are extremely encouraged by what we’ve seen so far. We need to enroll more patients to complete the study, and we’ll have more definitive data early in 2006.
Clinical trials like this are important to prove that these combinations of herbs not only work, but are safe. When my patients ask me about Zyflamend, I feel confident recommending it at three capsules per day.”
As a man who has been on the Alternative road in dealing with Prostate Cancer since 1994, I sincerely urge you to read Dr. Katz’s book. It could very well save your life.
